     Hi, I’m Missy, Owner of My Momentum Fitness, LLC.  My life is full of kids, friends, exercise, play and fun.   I am married with 6 kids in our blended family.

My career doesn't feel like a job to me because nutrition, exercise and coaching have been in every part of my life as long as I can remember.  I started My Momentum Fitness, LLC in 2009 with Personal Trainer and Zumba Instructor certifications.  I studied nutrition on my own then at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  In 2013, I received my Yoga Teacher RYT300.  I am continually researching and learning how to be a better guide to other busy women like myself.

All my life I have listened to people who struggle with their health and happiness. They ask me, "How do you stay fit?" and "What do you do that makes you so happy and full of energy?".  Well, I am not always full of energy, I have plenty of lazy times.  I love eating healthy AND eating not-so-healthy, and although I love how exercise makes me feel, I would prefer to lie in my hammock with a book or snuggle with my sweetie on the couch.  I think this is my secret….I enjoy my life.  No apologies or guilt.

I love what I do and I love bringing out the best in people. I enjoy my life as a Health Coach, Yoga Instructor and Fitness research geek.  I found my perfect balance that keeps me happy, healthy and real.  And I can help you find yours too.

My clients meet their goals because I give them my support, accountability, and specific and personal suggestions that work for them.   My clients never feel deprived, or disappointed in themselves and are able to create healthier habits and improve their overall health while reaching their goals.

Most approaches to nutrition dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.

No one diet works for everyone. I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.
